Meetings

Second Open Houses Successful in Pullman and Moscow

The second pair of open houses for the Master Plan project took place on June 15th at the University Inn Best Western in Moscow and on June 16th at the SEL Event Center in Pullman. The highlight of the events was a project visualization which begins with the airport today; moves through construction; and ends with a flight landing on the new airport runway with views of the expanded landside development.

In addition to the video images, there were three draft report chapters and graphic boards for review. The boards include design details for the airside and landside intermediate- and long-term development scenarios. They are available to view here:

This was the final set of public meetings associated with the project. New report material will continue to be posted on the Draft Master Plan page in July and August. The complete draft Master Plan is expected by the end of August. The final plan approval process will follow. Comments can be made at any time on the Contact Us page.

The Airport Manager serves as the group’s chair. The TAC meets every two or three months as project information is ready for review. Meetings are open to the public.

The TAC met on January 18th at the airport. The group reviewed several draft Master Plan chapters and also heard about trends and projections for commercial air service and had a preview of the open house materials.
