2007 — ACI–NA Environmental Achievement Award for the Dane County Regional Airport Runway Safety Area.

2007 — Ranked as 4th largest engineering firm in the state by Wisconsin Builder magazine.  And, Top 3 engineering firm in Wisconsin, as ranked by Corporate Report magazine “Best of Wisconsin” poll.

2007 — Bruce Hawkinson and Warren Isaacson received American Water Works Association’s Raymond J Faust Award, the highest section award, and Warren also received the Fuller Award.

2007 — Ranked 318 in Engineering News Record’s top 500 design firms list, after moving up almost 80 places in 2004.  Recognized as Top 25 in the nation for airport consulting consistently since 2004 ENR’s Sourcebook.

2007 — The 2007 Book of Business, published by the Wisconsin State Journal, ranked Mead & Hunt as the 3rd largest architectural firm and the 9th largest engineering firm in Dane County. This ranking is based on a combination of licensed professionals, total staff, and revenues.

2007The Milwaukee Business Journal’s 2008 Book of Lists ranks Mead & Hunt the 7th largest engineering firm in Wisconsin based on the number of engineers.

2007 — Kevin Sielaff was honored this spring with the Airport Engineering Award from the Wisconsin Airport Manager’s Association.

2007 — Rajan Sheth awarded the President’s Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin for his efforts on behalf of consulting engineering firms and the profession.

2007 — Volk Field Air Traffic Control Tower received a Merit Award in the Facility Design Category of the 2007 US Air Force Design Awards Program. 

2006 — Terry Kennedy awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Construction Club of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Dept at the University of Wisconsin.

2006 — Ron Corso named recipient of the Henwood Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Hydropower Assoc. 

2006 — Asphalt Paving Association’s Smoothness Award for Mason City Airport’s runway resurfacing project in Iowa.

2005 — Air traffic control tower at the WK Kellogg Airport was designated as “Project of the Year” by the American Public Works Association (APWA), Michigan Chapter.

2005 — Engineering and Surveying Excellence Award for Tulip City Airport Tunnel from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC) and the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE).  Project also received a construction “Award of Excellence” from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Michigan. (Mead & Hunt designed this project)

2005Midwest Construction magazine’s Award of Merit for the completion of a $33 million renovation project at Dane County Regional Airport.

2005 — Pellston Regional Airport and Ajax Paving Industries received the Michigan Concrete Paving Association Award for the Airports category.

2005 — Top Projects awards for the rebuild of Foremost Farms USA (Reedsburg, WI) and the terminal expansion at Austin Straubel International Airport (Green Bay, WI) by The Daily Reporter.

2005 — Asphalt Paving Association’s Paving Award for work at Klamath Falls Airport’s west apron project in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

2005 and 2004 — Recognized as the fastest rising architectural and engineering firm by the Zweig Letter Hot Firm list.
