Mead & Hunt – History’s Lessons

Mead & Hunt’s historic preservation staff was first hired in 1993.  Although many of the major projects are related to hydroelectric relicensing, large projects have been completed for other private and public entities.

From 1995 to 1998, the historic preservation staff completed an intensive building survey and reports for the cities of Wauwatosa and Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Other large projects have been received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Environment.  Generally, the historic preservation staff provides management assistance for the Bureau of Environment.

Other projects within recent years have included county-wide surveys for the state of Nebraska, a rural survey for the state of Minnesota, and many small and large road surveys for the DOT.
