Munising city engineer

The Munising City Council announced recently that Mead & Hunt will be its City Engineer.  “We’re thrilled about this opportunity,” says Bruce Hawkinson, Client Representative in Mead & Hunt’s Iron Mountain office.  “Munising is a special community, and we look forward to being part of the planning and development that will strengthen their future.”

As the City Engineer, Mead & Hunt will provide Munising with engineering services as needed.  Services may include project planning and management, site surveying, design and construction administration, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping, and grant applications.

In addition to the city engineering services, Mead & Hunt was recently contracted to provide engineering, surveying and construction administration services for a $14 million upgrade to the city’s wastewater treatment plant, and sanitary sewer and water systems.
