Security

Regional airports have faced an array of security changes since 9/11, including a new entity to consider – the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Mead & Hunt is well aware of the challenges of working within the TSA regulations, and has had recent success at several airports with significant changes to passenger terminal security.

Our firm was in the middle of several terminal projects when 9/11 occurred.  Since then, we’ve studied TSA regulations and worked closely with the agency to successfully meet client needs.  We’ve designed security systems for several airports since 9/11.

We understand the concerns these new security requirements bring to regional airports.  Finding a location – and funding – for additional baggage screening equipment, door access control, CCTV systems, and significant parking changes can seem overwhelming.  Keeping up with the changes takes time and a flexible approach.  Mead & Hunt works hard to stay ahead of the requirements and smooth out the process for our clients.
