Seminar explores how roundabouts slow traffic
A roundabout is a form of intersection design that is being used increasingly to control traffic flow in residential, commercial and industrial neighborhoods across Wisconsin and around the world. Mead & Hunt Transportation Engineer Michelle Snyder, PE, will explain the benefits of roundabouts at the League of Wisconsin Municipalities’ annual conference, set for 9 am, Thursday, Oct. 27, at the KI Convention Center, Green Bay.
Snyder is a design project manager with more than 10 years of experience in highway design and project management. She has led projects involving rails to trails, highway relocation, historical impacts, and extensive public involvement.
