Here is a small sampling of some of Mead & Hunt's proudest and most challenging work.

Rehabilitation of Building 304 – Michigan

Selfridge Air National Guard/Air Force Base, Michigan

Mead & Hunt prepared plans for a rehabilitation of this two-story brick, Neoclassical-style building, which is a contributing component of the historic base.  The 80-year-old, 30,000-square-foot facility was in need of complete interior renovation, HVAC redesign, and restoration of exterior and roof according to State Historic Preservation Office guidelines.  The main campus includes office buildings and officers’ residences that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The rehabilitation follows the design guidelines outlined in the base’s historic preservation plan and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.  Mead & Hunt coordinated Section 106 compliance of the project with the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office.
