Here is a small sampling of some of Mead & Hunt's proudest and most challenging work.
Mead & Hunt, Inc.

Municipal Water Services – City of Marinette

Marinette, Wisconsin

Water system master plan — Mead & Hunt developed a water system master plan to incorporate future water main extensions and locate a new 1,500,000 gallon elevated storage tank within the city limits.  We developed the plan in conjunction with an analysis of the city’s current water system, recommending improvements to blend current needs with future demand in the growing community.  We provided a digital mapping system that is Geographical Information System (GIS) compatible.

Finished water clear well — One improvement we made was planning, permitting, designing and managing construction of a 500,000-gallon below-ground concrete reservoir, along with reconstructing an adjacent 265,000-gallon reservoir.  Mead & Hunt maximized both reservoirs’ storage efficiency by enhancing the structural design, piping, and pumping systems.

Water system analysis — As project engineer and design engineer, Mead & Hunt analyzed the city’s existing water system.  We used the Haestad Methods WaterCad water distribution modeling software to show areas of deficiencies, and recommend improvements to provide the city with 500 GPM at 20 PSI at all the hydrants.
