Our bridge experience includes projects for rural areas, where simple railings and guardrail were, used to urban bridge designs include sidewalks, utilities, and concrete parapets.

If the structure involves a stream or river crossing, Mead & Hunt is highly qualified to provide hydraulic analyses to determine the size and type of structure best suited for the proposed site.  Complete structural design of the selected alternative can be developed to accommodate various loading conditions.

Many times we have incorporated aesthetics into a design with the use of colored concrete, formliners, decorative railings, arched superstructures, and other design elements to provide a better match with the structure’s surroundings.
