Land Use GIS Tool a Hit at SWAAAE

With a click of the mouse, attendees at the 52nd Annual SWAAAE Airport Management Short Course witnessed the benefits of using GIS to streamline airport planning and operations. In Session #7 on January 31, Mead & Hunt in association with the City of Ontario, showcased the Ontario GIS Tool which was specifically developed to implement the Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) for Ontario International Airport. The Impact of Lost Service

The article noted that Chiquita was moving its corporate headquarters from Cincinnati to North Carolina, due in part to the number of commercial flights out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
