Pinnacle Airlines Files Bankruptcy

Essential Air Service (EAS) update

The US Department of Transportation put out a Request for Proposal (RFP) for subsidized Essential Air Service (EAS) for four markets that are currently being served by SkyWest Airlines/United Express. The new contract is expected to start on January 1, 2012. The airports affected are Eau Claire, WI; Houghton, MI; Muskegon, MI; and Paducah, KY. Continue reading
