Frontier Airlines to Serve Phoenix-Mesa

Thanks to one of our Air Service Consultants, Jeffrey Hartz, for contributing this post!

On Monday Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport announced that Frontier Airlines will begin service at the Mesa Arizona airport.  Frontier will be the third airline operating at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway,  joining Allegiant and Spirit Airlines.  Frontier’s new service will start on November 15 with daily nonstop roundtrip service to their Denver International Airport hub.  The service will be operated with mainline Airbus A319 aircraft.

Phoenix-Mesa will join the other 61 destinations that Frontier currently serves from its Denver hub, and most importantly this will allow passengers to utilize the easy to use airport to make a single connection to some of the largest cities in the US.

Mead & Hunt began working with Phoenix-Mesa Gateway in 2008.  We have completed numerous studies, coordinated and participated in many airline meetings, and have assisted in successfully turning the former Williams Air Force Base into a bustling commercial airport.
