8th Annual National Aviation System Planning Symposium Announced

May 20-22 is expected to be an exciting time in Galveston (TX) as planners and aviation professionals from across the country take part in the 8th Annual National Aviation System Planning Symposium.

Sponsored by the TRB, the symposium is designed to focus on the latest developments in technology and policy related to the challenges of planning the national aviation system for the initial decades of the 21st century.

The 2009 symposium held in Pacific Grove (CA) was a great gathering of professionals including aviation system planners, engineers, researchers, managers and others to exchange ideas. The 2012 version is expected to continue this trend with informative topics and engaging speakers.

I’ll be there and look forward to seeing old friends and making new acquaintances with those who have an interest in aviation system planning. Check out the symposium web page and plan to join us!
