Network USA 2012 will be hosted by Tampa International Airport from March 4-6, 2012.
Network USA guarantees seven 30-minute meetings between airports and airlines for attendees who book early.
As many of you know, airlines use the conferences as an efficient way to meet face-to-face with communities to discuss existing and potential air service opportunities in a “speed-dating” format. We are expecting scheduled meetings to be announced soon.
Airports that are registered should prepare a concise handout for each airline meeting with the main selling points of your market. Some airlines prefer an electronic version for take-away and gifts/logo items are common. Be prepared!
On Sunday, March 4, Mead and Hunt’s Air Service Consulting group will be hosting its annual conference dinner. If you would like to attend, please let us know if you have not already done so.
If you are not currently registered for Network USA, meetings are likely getting full so check with the conference sponsor to see if your high-priority airline meetings are still available.
Also, plan on attending ACI-NA’s JumpStart 2012 conference from June 4-7, 2012, in Sacramento, CA. Similar in format to Network USA, ACI-NA’s JumpStart Air Service Development Program is a “speed dating” program designed to bring airports and airlines together for brief introductory meetings. Registration is open – the earlier you register the better. You can register at http://www.aci-na.org/jumpstart.
Even if you are registered to attend Network USA, we highly recommend that you also consider attending JumpStart. Attending more than one conference has great value – a meeting request not accepted by a carrier at one conference may be obtained at the other.
Get signed up and make conferences an integral part of a successful development year for 2012!
