Mead and Hunt

Learn about Ontario’s ALUCP GIS tool

We invite you to the 52nd Annual SWAAAE Airport Management Short Course in lovely Monterey!

While you are there please join Maranda Thompson, a Senior Planner at Mead & Hunt, for Session #7 on Tuesday, January 31. The session will feature new trends in GIS for streamlining airport planning and operations. Gain an understanding of how to address the challenges of implementing an Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) after approval.

Learn how Mead & Hunt, in association with Technology Associates, developed an innovative method of using GIS to implement an ALUCP for the Ontario International Airport. This new GIS-based software program—the first of its kind—has allowed the City of Ontario to streamline its reviews of complex land use development proposals around the airport.

Protect your airport and vitality of your local economy by sharing the knowledge gained in this session with your local planners and elected officials!

We look forward to seeing you there.
