Mead & Hunt’s John Rathke and Christine Long authored a paper on Balancing Engineering Criteria and Historic Significance to Preserve Select Bridges, published in the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, Volume 2202 / 2010.
This paper describes Indiana's efforts to prioritize historic bridges for preservation using a systematic analysis that considers both relative historic significance and engineering condition. Mead & Hunt’s historic preservation and transportation groups teamed on this project which was led by Amy Squitieri and Chad Moffett.
