Why do the study?

1. The airport owners, Port of Douglas County and Port of Chelan County, believe it is important to have a vibrant airport, with the right facilities to support the community’s aviation transportation needs
2. Identifying airfield needs is part of Pangborn’s Airport Master Plan.
3. Indications from commercial and general aviation users are that runway improvements may be necessary.
